29 Weeks, 5days pregnant with triplets

I am still pregnant, thankfully.  The terbuline is still working and I am getting used to the side effects.  My carpal tunnel has returned, but much worse in my right hand than before.

As of last Tuesday the babies were weighing 2.9, 2.6, and 2.5.  I am glad that they are staying together.  I wonder what it must be like for them being all together in there.

I have now decided that I don't want them to come out.  I want to keep them there where I know it is safe and peaceful outside.

I have been doing too much around the house and I need to take it easier.  Tomorrow I am going to try my best to veg on the couch and in bed.

Oh yeah, on Sunday we had pictures taken of us at home.  I hope they turn out great!

28 Weeks, 1 Day Expecting Triplets

Well, on Thursday I woke up still feeling contractions, but I felt a little different.  I was experiencing a tingling sensation down below.  I worked a half day and then went to the hospital to get monitored.  I found out that I was having more contractions than I thought and I was dilated a cm.  I got a shot of steroids and Terbutaline.  The Terbutaline seemed to help, but the side effects were not that great, racing heart, breathing changed, and a nervous shakiness on the inside.  I got a Rx for the terbutaline and didn't sleep much last night.  The steroid shot seemed to really help the temporary carpal tunnel that I have acquired.

The babies were scanned and all are measuring 2.2 lbs and one is 2.4 lbs.  The amniotic fluid levels look good, hearts look good, and they are all active.  We think one of them has a Goodstein nose.  I can't wait to meet them, but I want to keep them in another four weeks.

I am so sad.  I was so looking forward to the end of the week when I would be done with work and then at home able to do things around the house and rest.  Now I can't do anything around the house, just rest.

My friend Debbie and her husband came by last night and dropped off some of her grandson's clothing and bottles too.  Debbie also got me started on some of the necessities like, hooded towels, washcloths, preemie sleepers, onesies with matching pants, and baby nighttime lotion.

Last Saturday we drove to Palm Harbor and met the kindest lady who gave us 18 Dr. Brown's 4 oz bottles, lots of 0-3 month clothing, and the best pregnancy C shaped pillow.  I love that thing.
